Here’s my latest Nancy-inspired outfit! It’s based on the parlor in Message in a Haunted Mansion. The burgundy waistcoat and shoes take their color from the drapery, while the pale gold blouse is based on the wallpaper. The skirt’s floral brocade pattern resembles the sofa. The warm brown nail polish matches the wooden accents in the room— including the scary swan table. There’s a violin by the window, hence the necklace, and the earrings reminded me of the ornate mirror above the fireplace. The purse, like the entire outfit, is Victorian inspired. And finally, the decor is reminiscent of the sheet music and old papers found throughout the parlor.
